Debris

You wanted a timeshare in my heart.
To bulldoze the scene and recreate it to suit your needs.
Tied those strings tight all the while
Pulling the wool down, down.

What's the excuse that comes from your mouth
When people ask what became of it all?

Fumbling around in a dark room searching for a switch,
I finally turned the light on to see the writing on the wall.

  1. sometimes the writing on the wall is harsh and not what you expect but there it is. Disapointments just a part of life but joy and happiness the reward on the other side. Sometimes its a day to day battle It does seem quite dark at times. seeing things though in light opens up the realization of inner strength and wisdom. People are a lot like trees, sometimes the ones that are weathered and bent are the ones that survive the storm
